Ealing located in West London and is situated in one of the 10 metropolitan centres as classified in the Mayors Plan of London addresses the opportunity to enhance Ealing Councils plans for regenerating both the retail and leisure facilities with the town centre as well as improving Ealing’s public transport opportunities.
The 1.7 hectare site will provide high density retail mixed use scheme consisting of 18,542 sq m of Retail space and 567 residential units as well as office and leisure facilitates.
Glenkerrin have taken an integrated approach to the enhancement fo the area. This means providing an attractive landscape, outstanding amenities and a safe environment for residents, workers and visitors to the area. Glenkerrin has given careful consideration to all elements of this project to ensure the best possible solution for Arcadia.
Given Ealing’s established leafy suburban character there was a huge response to the scheme. The proposed tall building fronts a new public square and proposed cross rail station due to open in 2017. A new network of street and public spaces will extend Ealing’s existing street fabric and unite the town with the public park at Haven Green to the north of the site with a land bridge over the Great western Line.
